Walmart Honeysuckle Frozen Turkey for $.60 LB!

Yes, it is true! I had heard that Walmart had their turkey on sale, but I had to check it out for myself. I got a 13 lb. Honeysuckle White Frozen Turkey for Thanksgiving for $6.98. It was originally $7.98 and I had a $1.00 coupon. If you were lucky enough to print the coupon out (I cannot find them anymore) then this is the time to use them!

Money Saving Madness is reporting that Walmart has their cream soups on sale for $.58 each. I have not verified this yet at my Walmart, but hopefully they are on sale there too. However, with all the Campbell Soup coupons out there, this should make for some inexpensive cream soups. I plan on stocking up on these!

Price Cutter Deals: 10/21-10/27!

The Local Grocery Ads came out today! I always look forward to the local ads for many reasons - price comping and great deals are among them! Price Cutter has some great deals and here are a few highlights:

• Red or Golden Delicious Apples - $.79 lb! It is Apple Pie making time!
• Bird's Eye Vegetables - 10/$10 - this weekends coupon inserts had $.35 off one (Price Cutter doubles coupons up to $.50) - making these $.30 each depending on how many coupons you have.
• General Foods International Coffee is on sale for 2/$5.00 - use the $.75 coupons that came out in the last month and you will pay only $1.75 each!
• Hiland Sour Cream Dip (8 oz.) = $.59.

Local Grocery Deals Starting 10/14!

Here in southern Missouri we got our local grocery ads! (I will try to post every week when our local grocery ads come out). Here are the best deals I have found so far:

Dillons (a Kroger Chain Store):

Mega Event this week! This is the sales event where you purchase any 10 items from their specified list and they take $5 off your bill. This ends up being a $.50 savings on each item (as long as you have 10 items from their list). The local ad shows these three items:

• Healthy Choice or Marie Callendar's Entree's = $2.38 each
• Breyers ice Cream (48 oz.) or Dove Ice Cream (16 oz.) = $2.99 each
• Van de Kamp's Fish (Frozen - 8-24.6 oz. box) = $3.99 each

Campbell's Chunky Soup (select varieties - 18.6-19 oz. can)! $1.00 each. Use the current coupons from the Sunday Paper's for this soup - $.50/2 and $.60/2. The coupons will be doubled and increased to the amount of $1.00 - making the Chunky Soup = $.50 each!

International Delight Coffee Creamer or Land O Lakes Half & Half (select varieties - 32 oz.). This is my favorite item!! There are printable coupons for $.75 for the International Delight Coffee Creamer which will = $1.00 at Dillons = making this $.99! I plan to stock up!

Farmland Ham (4 lb.) = $3.99. This is a great item to freeze for the holidays!

Another Great Target Shopping Experience!

Hello everyone! I went to Target tonight to grab a few more items and price comp for the first time ever at Target! Yes, Target now price comps! I'll post a note about that after this. Anyway, if you remember, two nights ago I went to Target and spent under $25.00 and earned a $5 Gift Certificate. I took that $5 GC back tonight because I wanted to price comp our local grocery store's $1.87 Cheerios price. Note that TC=Target Coupon and MC=Manufacturer Coupon. Here is what I got:

1 - Edy's 1.5 qt. Ice Cream $2.50 - $1.00 TC
6 - Market Pantry Cheddar Cheeze Sticks $2.40 (.40 each) - $2.00 TC (2 $1 cpns)
2 - Hillshire Deli Meat $3.00 each = $6.00 - $3.00 MC peelie & - $2.00 TC (2 $1 cpns)
2 - Cheerios $2.79 each - $1.00 MC & $2.00 TC (2 $1 cpns)
1 - Glade Current & Acai Soy Candle 2 oz. $2.49 - $3.00 MC
2 - Health Choice Entrees $2.54 each - $4.00 MC (2 $2 cpns)

Total after coupons and tax = $6.78 - $5.00 Gift Card = $1.78 OOP! (I'm not done yet!)
I took my grocery ad up to the Customer Service Counter and received $1.92 for my price comp! Try out the Target Price Matching - it is worth the wait in the Customer Service Line!

Great Hillshire Deli Meat Deal at Target!

While I was shopping this week at Target, I realized a great deal when I got home. On the top of my package of Hillshire Farms Deli Meat was a $3/2 coupon for more Hillshire Farms Deli Meat! At my Target this item is $3.04 and Target has a printable coupon for $1.00 here that expires on 9/12/09. Tbis is the deal scenario:

2 Hillshire Farms Deli Meat ($3.04 each) = $6.08
- 2 $1.00 coupons from Target - $2.00
- 1 $3/2 peelie coupon on top of package - $3.00
Total OOP: $1.08 for 2 packages!!!

I also noticed when I was putting my groceries away that the Hillshire Deli Meat had a $3.00/2 coupon on top for the next Hillshire Deli Meat purchase! Using 2 - $1.00 Target Coupons with the $3.00/2 Mfr. coupons at Target - I can get 2 of the Hillshire Deli Meat for $.50 each!!!! :) I plan on making another trip back to Target this week!

I have also found a great deal on Bacon this week at Walgreens. Walgreens is offering Oscar Mayer Bacon at B1G1 for $5.99. Included in the coupons today was a coupon for $1.50/2. This makes for $2.25 each for the bacon. Not a bad deal!

SoBe B1G1 Coupons Reset!

Thanks to It's Hip to Save I found out that the B1G1 SoBe coupon has been reset. Go here and print yours! This should go well with the Kroger\Dillons Mega Event. You should be able to print two per computer - just hit the backspace key to print the coupon one more time after the initial print.

International Delight Creamer at Target!

It seems as though Target has some great deals this week. I haven't made it by mine yet, but as of this latest posting, I am making sure to run by their tomorrow night. It seems that Money Saving Mom has found out that some Target stores have their International Delight Creamer on sale for around $1.15. Combine this with the $1.00 coupon out there, that makes for some really cheap creamer. I am in luck too, my husband loves this creamer! So, I do hope they are having the sale at my Target. I will keep you posted!
